Welcome to the official website for the ISB Convention 2013!  We’re glad to have you with us.  With over 200 events happening, there is something here for everyone.  Explore the site and let us know your thoughts.  We’ve even got buttons over here on the right for you to register now.  It is super easy! We look forward to seeing you at our Big Bass Bash!

New updates as of May 15:  Exhibition Page and Your Building Guide
Also, please note that all events in Ranlet Lounge have now been moved to Room 514.

Tom Martin has unfortunately had to cancel his appearance due to eye surgery that will prevent him from flying for the next month.

Here’s a little sample of our evening headliners for this June:

About our 2009 Convention at Penn State:  “That convention was cool because I picked out a really cool bass for my son, Evan to buy (that David Gage had there on consignment). I had David hold it for us. Later on during the convention, as fate would have it, out of all the basses there, Richard Davis chose Evan’s bass to play at his ‘concert’… As a result, we had people following us to the car trying to buy it from us for more than we paid for it as we were loading it in the car – completely killed our bargaining power too!”  Joe Sarver, Richmond, Virginia

ISB2009 143ISB 2013 is packed with all kinds of concerts, workshops, exhibits, and more.  We need help documenting the week’s events.  In the past, it has all been with written articles.  We still love it and we need writers.  We’re also looking to expand our scope of reporting.
Are you interested in:
  • Short video reports?
  • Short interviews with artists?
  • Sharing highlights of the day?
  • Photojournalism?
  • Reports from the exhibits for new gear and basses?

If this sounds interesting to you, email Kristin Korb with your phone number, what days you’ll be at the convention, and what you’d like to do during the week.
